Hello everyone. My mother, Linda Haynes, will be celebrating her 77th birthday on March 21st. The deaths of her grandson, husband, and daughter in the last four years as well as a surprise open heart surgery for valve replacement have taken a toll on Mom. She is, however, as brilliant as ever and as active as she can be. She can still work circles around most of us. The aforementioned tragic events of the last few years have strengthened my resolve to make sure to tell my loved ones how important they have been to me while they are living. Bluntly, please take this opportunity to express your love, respect, appreciation for and memories of Mom to her while she is here to enjoy them. If you aren't keen on making a video or know of other family, former co-workers or students who cannot be reached via social media, please pass this message along. If anyone would prefer, you can send a written appreciation to Dollie Haynes-Buckhaults/PO BOX 315/McLean, TX 79057. While we will gladly take any cards, letters, emails, etc. if at all possible please make a short video to add to a video montage (or "Tribute") I am creating for Mom. It will only take you a minute to film and submit your video. It should make for an unforgettable gift that shares our collective love and appreciation. Don't feel constrained by the suggested questions to answer in your video; virtually anything is acceptable, even a simple "Happy Birthday". I know this is somewhat short notice so I thank you in advance. Don't be the last to submit! Dollie Haynes-Buckhaults
