What are we doing?

We are inviting everyone around the world to be part of a surprise video tribute celebrating Grandmaster Hee Il Cho's 80th birthday (Oct. 13th). Please keep your messages brief (1-5 min); we will do our best to include everyone's message in the final video. This virtual commemoration will be especially meaningful as this will be one of the first times Grandmaster Cho's birthday will not be celebrated in-person due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline to submit your video is Tues. Oct. 6, 2020 to give us at least 1 week to edit. You may answer the suggested questions below or simply record you and your students saying, "Happy Birthday Grandmaster Cho from [school] in [country]!" Break boards, show your favorite technique, share personal artwork, etc. Be as creative as you'd like! Please remember this is a SURPRISE that we intend to deliver virtually on the date of his birthday.
